Bandol Rose 2019

Recognized among the greatest appellations of Provence, the reputation of Bandol rose is well established!  Its king grape variety, Mourvedre, powerful and complex, combined with the finesse and fruitiness of Cinsault, draw their aromas from clay-limestone soils. This wine of character will charm you as an aperitif, accompanied by a Tian of Provencal vegetables, a Caesar salad, a saffron bouillabaisse or a seasonal fruit salad. To be enjoyed from now on ! 

Vintage : 2019

Grape varieties : 65 % Mourvedre, 35 % Cinsault

Yield : 30 hl/ha

Vinification : Direct pressing, fermentation at low temperature.

Maturing : Thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for 6 months.

Tasting notes

Visual Appreciation : Bright pale pink color with carmine reflections.

Olfactory Appreciation : Clear and subtle nose, with notes of citrus fruits (pink pomelo), red berries and bergamot.

Taste : Ample and complex wine with a nice freshness and aromas of citrus fruits and exotic fruits, where the minerality is expressed by saline notes at the end of the mouth. Beautiful aromatic persistence.
